Cohort Narratives for Leadership
How to tell a retention story when your app is not a consumer social product — without a hockey-stick chart pretending otherwise.

Most dashboards are wallpaper. We teach the few pages that actually get read.
Agent Servicecore is a small studio for product executives who must explain app health without hiding behind DAU charts. We work on Executive App Reporting Analytics: metric selection, exception reporting, cohort stories, and the weekly operating review that keeps a portfolio honest.

Flagship programme
Eight studio sessions that take a working product leader from “I have a Looker folder” to a repeatable appendix: what the board reads, what it skips, and how to write an exception so it does not sound like an apology.
We assume you already have an analytics function. We do not teach instrumentation. We teach the room: how to interrogate a weekly pack, how to refuse vanity metrics, and how to keep one metric dictionary the organisation will actually keep.
Also on the desk
Shorter formats for teams that already report, but still lose the room.

See programmesHow we teach
Every session starts with a one-page narrative. If the sentence cannot stand without a screenshot, the metric does not belong in the pack.
We train you to surface the three things that moved, not the thirty tiles that stayed still. Boards forgive bad news; they do not forgive fog.
Activation, retention, and “active” mean different things on every floor of a company. We make the definitions boring enough to survive a re-org.
Alumni notes
“The exception-reporting module stopped me from pasting the same twelve charts into every board appendix. I now send four pages and a watchlist. Our chair reads them.”
Arun, Chiang Mai — finished Cohort Narratives. “I finally have language for month-two paid retention that does not sound like a product manager reciting Mixpanel.”
Field notes
Daily active users remain the default slide. For most subscription and marketplace apps in Thailand, that slide is now a distraction.
