Notes from people who still have to face a board.

These are not campaign quotes. They refer to specific modules. One of them is mixed on purpose — a studio that only collects applause is not teaching hard things.

“The exception-reporting module in Board-Ready App Metrics stopped me from pasting the same twelve charts into every appendix. I now send four pages and a watchlist. Our chair actually reads them before the call.”

Nattaporn Saelim, VP Product, Bangkok fintech

The cohort-narrative sessions gave me language for month-two paid retention that does not sound like a product manager reciting Mixpanel. I still over-explain on bad weeks, but the spine is there.

We run a hotel-group super-app. The P&L signal reading work forced our commercial and product leads into the same dictionary for “active guest.” That fight was overdue. Reporting is quieter now, which is the point.

Useful, especially the weekly operating review ritual. The homework load assumed I could steal four hours from an already full CPO week; I missed one critique and felt behind. I would still send a deputy. It is not a light listen-on-the-BTS course.

A regional GM arrived with a 40-slide weekly pack. After four Board Chamber sessions the pack was nine pages: activation, paid retention, one iOS checkout exception, and a contribution-margin bridge. The analytics team still owns the warehouse; the GM now owns the narrative. Time-to-first usable appendix: just under three weeks.

Facilitation: Board Chamber, on-site in Prawet, 2025.

Two product directors took Morning Brief, then joined an Operating Table. Their limitation was honesty: they had no dedicated BI lead. We spent a session teaching them what not to promise a board until that hire landed. They left with a metric dictionary and a stop-doing list, not a fake dashboard culture.

Programmes: Morning Brief + Operating Table.
